Oh n I 4got to mention they also have versatility. They were the only crew to accurately n adequately accomplish each task on the last challenge. Beat Freaks did good n Fly Khicks were ok but Quest killed it! They are so versatile, they not only do the breakin and b-boyin, but Hok is so good at the styles of tuttin and other intricacies of poppin, Ryan is the shit at threadin, Steve was #1 martial art champion at one point, don’t even get me started on Victor and that’s not includin everythin else they can do! The challenge was tuttin, wavin, threadin, house and krump. The fact that the last two isnt even their style n they still killed it is nuff said.
I loved the performance Beat freaks did, they used a kinetic sphere which really isnt magic–its more like science. Aside from the magic tricks both BF n Quest are amazin dancers but honestly they did have an unfair advantage w/ the sphere. You cant really do to much dancin w/ a sword stab, its too linear. The sphere however adds more dimension to the dance n thts why their performance looked phenomenal. I stress the word ‘performance’….not dance. Both dances from each crew tho were equally good but the reason Quest captures my heart is that they include performance, athleticism, synchrony, creativity n humor. Both crews have alot of charisma but Quest seem to apply dance as art through movement and their characters always put a smile on my face, especially Dom. That boy is just too special lol.
SHIT. MARYSS FROM PARIS is the tightest female dancer on earth. her and rino. the head isolation maryss does and her tick solo cant be beat. they are pheonominal and on point. I cant say any better. except they killed it this time.

Beat freaks KILLLLEDDDDDDDDD IT on week 5 I don’t know what people are talking about, who even cares about the ball at this point. Their dancing KILLED IT. it was effing amazing with or without the ball, the ball just enhanced their performance as a whole, they fukkin owned the ball and again amazing dancing easily my favourite dance i have ever seen on tv in my life, i cant stop watching it, simply amazing-ness from women who aren’t like stupid flykhicks
I dont think they had an easy trick.
Doing choreography around the ball, with the ball at the same time with the ball must be challenging, however it worked. If it was controlled by invisible strings, then the movement of the ball wouldn’t have been so natural looking. If it was motion sensing, it would have been very difficult to keep it in the place you wanted it to be in when you have 6 or 7 people dancing and moving their bodies endlessly.
And yeah, I think Beatfreaks are more versatile than any other crews this season. Even Shane said so. They have B-Girls and poppers, lockers, and there’s just no telling what they can do or when they’ll do it.
I love Beat Freaks but this perfomance didn’t impressed me at all. They had the easiest trick. For me Quest Crew was the best and they deserve to win. They are more versatile. It seems to me that Beat Freaks always do the same tricks. Anyhow, I love them anyway. It’s going to be a hard battle between them and Quest Crew.
Janky: Do you even know dance? Which crew did you think had the best dancing during this episode? The Beat Freaks absolutely killed their dancing this episode. From how they came out popping, to their booging right after that, to Marys’ rib isolation when the ball started floating, to her ticking, and then the whole locking section at the end..they just killed their dancing. I agree that people have to stop commenting on the floating ball. It had nothing to do with the majority of their dance steps at all. The only time the ball was really in play was when maryss passed it off after her ticking section which led into the windmill part. That was it. The rest was all pure dance.
great performance. Quest and BF are my fav crews, but BF was the best this ep. Maryss is fckin hot… just sayin
People need to drop the whole “if quest crew got the ball blah blah blah” thing. Yes there’s a possibility that they would have gotten a good performance with the magic ball but their task was to create a great performance with the lampost. If they’re so great they should’ve aced that challenged like the Beat Freaks did.
The challenge was to create a routine that has magic tricks incorporated into it, and that will captivate the audience. I heard nothing about precise lines or turns or crisp tight movement from Layla. I think I pretty much speak for most of the people that watch on how Beatfreaks killed this.
What a dumb theme. It wasn’t even based on what group could dance the best (of which Beat Freaks definitely did not- this week), but about which group could pull off the best magic trick??? I have a feeling Beat Freaks is going to win just because there’s a lot of feminists in America who will only vote for a female group because they want them to be the 1st ones to win for a change.

BF DEF HAD AN AWESOME PERFORMANCE, BUT THE ILLUSION WAS ALL DONE BY INVISABLE STRING N PULLEY ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS CHOREO A DANCE AROUND THE BALL, THEY WERENT MANIPULATING THE BALL IT JUST LOOKED LIKE THEY WHERE BY DANCING AROUND IT. ALL THE OTHER CREWS HAD TO ACTUALLY DO THERE ILLUSION, ALSO IF QUESTS CREW WOULD OF GOT THE FLOATING BALL THEY WOULD OF HAD THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT FOR SURE. IN THE END I STILL THINK QUEST DID BETTER THAN BF, N J.C. NEEDS TO LAY OFF THE POSSING BULL THATS PART OF THERE STYLE, THEY TALK ABOUT THE STYLE OF OTHER CREWS N HAVING AN IDENTITY LAY OFF QUEST. FINALS QC, N BF, ANYTHING ELSE IS BOGUS. ANYONE ELSE AGREE?
